Guardia - Seven Years Later

Congratulations Guardia Sanframondi on the 4th episode on House Hunters International!! Wow! it's been 7 years since I watched the first House Hunter's show (thanks Clare!) about a little town called Guardia Sanframondi. After watching the show, I made a decision to chase a dream and take a chance on something that sounded too good to be true. People told me I was crazy back then, .. and now after hundred's of homes sold, and expats moving to Guardia on a regular basis..  not so much :)

My life has taken me on some crazy rides and beautiful adventures in the last several years, and I have to believe that most of that was inspired by this beautiful little town that taught me to dream big and be kind. So here's to a world with more inspiration and kindness, and less bullying and divisiveness.

I'm still using my home for extended stays during the summer and hoping one day to make it permanent retirement home. I'm soooo excited for all the expats moving to Guardia that will pave the way for the rest of us, and hopefully will have it all figured out by the time its our turn.

We're eagerly planning our next visit!!, but here are some pictures of beautiful Guardia from our last trip.. I think it gets more and more beautiful as the years go by.

Went to the market to get one thing.. and then came home with all of this!

David and I love our evenings at the Jardino at the Orso's  Bar and hanging out with Pasquale, Luigi and Anna

Home Sweet Home.. our front door was in the show during the first few minutes
